We are looking for a newly Qualified accountant to join our exciting practice.
Salary – Up to £50 K depending on experience

Who are we looking for? The team member will be responsible for:

 

  • Finalising accounts for GP practices operating as general partnerships for review by Senior Manager/Partner

  • Completing the work with feedback from the senior manager/partner

 

  • Manage and plan own workload and junior/semi-senior work schedule

 

  • Liaising with clients directly

 

  • Preparing/reviewing accounts for limited companies

 

  • Answering ad-hoc accounting queries for clients

Competencies:

 

  • Ability to plan and manage the portfolio workload for themselves, Seniors and Junior associates

 

  • Liaise and respond directly with Clients

 

  • Manage technical queries with supervision or direct to appropriate SME

 

  • Does their given workload to a high standard

 

  • Supports their Senior Account Manager / Director

 

  • Supervises junior employees

 

  • Works continuously on their professional education and training

 

  • Ensures meeting deadlines, monitors effectiveness and accuracy

 

  • Acts as first line of QA from the Senior Associates

Current Practice Structure:

We have three partners: Laurence Slavin, Katie Collin and Anil Sookharry. Working with us, is our COO Rick Marriott

Skills Required for this Role: The individual will be expected to:

  • Have strong communication skills

  • Once trained, will be expected to work independently

  • Minimum 2 years experience of working in a firm of chartered/certified accountants

 

  • Must be at least part qualified
