 Senior Associate

We are looking for Senior/Semi Senior Qualified/Part Qualified accountant to join our exciting practice.

Salary – UP to £40K depending on Experience

Hybrid working

Ramsay Brown is one of the leading firms of chartered accountants looking after clients in healthcare, predominantly GPs, GP Partnerships, their Federations, Primary Care Networks, NHS Consultants, dentists, pharmacists etc.

Who are we looking for? The team member will be responsible for:


  • Preparing accounts for GP practices operating as general partnership for review by manager/partner

  • Completing the work with feedback from the manager/partner


  • Liaising with clients directly


  • Preparing/reviewing accounts for limited companies


  • Managing working for a number of managers on a portfolio of clients



  • Ensures their workload is completed to a high standard


  • Ability to communicate coherently with both Clients and Partners


  • Supports their Account Manager


  • Supervises & Assists Junior Employees (on & offshore)


  • Continuously works on their professional education and training


  • Pays attention to meeting deadlines, effectiveness of planning activities and accuracy


  • Acting as first line of Quality Assurance from the Junior talent pool


  • Ability to manage their portfolio and planner and resolves any planning conflicts

Current Practice Structure:

We have three partners: Laurence Slavin, Katie Collin and Anil Sookharry. Working with us, is our COO Rick Marriott

Skills Required for this Role: The individual will be expected to:

  • Have strong communication skills

  • Be able to think ‘outside the box’

  • Once trained, will be expected to work independently
