Agile Business Advisor – UK Sales

Agile Business Advisor (ABA), conducts store visits in specific areas across one of our four geographic divisions. The role provides crucial support, as well as cover during holidays and absence for our Business Advisors to ensure continuous achievement of company objectives and KPIs. This includes, but is not limited to, meeting the designated call rate, call coverage target, selling products, educating retailers and retail staff, investigating stock anomalies, planogram compliance, merchandising and any other in-call activities as required.

Working in the Independent, Symbol, Key Multiple Grocers, Wholesale, Gas and Convenience channels, selling the benefits of JTI products by utilising adaptive sales methods. Drive category sales and JTI performance by taking an inquisitive approach to solve issues at store level and cascade action plans to rectify issues. Work collaboratively with accounts and Account Managers to provide effective solutions and monitor the impact of interventions. To ensure, where appropriate that point of sale staff are educated, trained and fully aware of JTI products and price points and the importance of maintaining the correct Range & Availability of JTI product.

ABA’s are often deployed flexibly across a wider area or division to meet business objectives and this may, from time to time, require staying away from home.

London – £36,032.50 (based on home location)

Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required

Minimum 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including English and Maths, grade C or above.

No previous sales experience is required, however the individual should have a desire to succeed, be target driven, customer focused, highly planned and organised and have the ability to build strong business relationships.

Fluency in English.

Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential.

Full manual or automatic licence is required, with no more than 3 penalty points.
