Business Advisor – UK Sales

As a Business Advisor you’ll be responsible for driving the growth of JTI volume, Share of Market and profitably within the confines of your designated ground for which you are responsible. Working across the Independent, Symbol, Key Multiple Grocers, Convenience, Wholesale and Gas channels ensuring the collaborative, effective & efficient implementation of agreed multi-channel strategies. To be achieved through effectively planning your store visits based on coverage requirements, business priorities and opportunity.

Achieving required distribution and availability targets across all channels by selling the benefits of JTI products, utilising adaptive sales methods, planogram compliance, retail education, selling to the independent trade and effective negotiation. Drive category sales and JTI performance by taking an inquisitive approach to solve issues at store level and cascade action plans to rectify issues. Ensuring, where appropriate that point of sale staff are educated, trained and fully aware of JTI products and price points and the importance of maintaining the correct Range & Availability of JTI product.

Work collaboratively with accounts and Account Managers to provide effective solutions and monitor the impact of interventions and ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.

Salary

National – £32,986.67

London – £36,032.50 (based on home location)

Ideally based in one of the following locations –


Basingstoke

Start Date – From 18/10/21 to 29/11/21 depending on job location

Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required

Minimum 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including English and Maths, grade C or above.

Experience, none as compulsory – Minimum 3 years in FMCG sales role preferred.

Fluency in English.

Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential.

Full manual or automatic licence is required, with no more than 3 penalty points.

Interviews – From 27/08/21 to 20/09/21 depending on job location.

Training – 8 weeks in total, including 2 weeks based in a classroom.
