Job Title: Onboarding Administrator 

Location: Portsmouth. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role. 

Salary: £24,196 – £26,000 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing timely/regular communications, ensuring candidates and hiring manager are effectively engaged and supported throughout the On-Boarding cycle
  • Providing advice and offering support with minimal supervision, following established methods and procedures, but on occasion judgement may need to be exercised
  • Offer Management, On-Boarding & First Day Readiness
  • Meet and Greet service for both permanent and contingents to navigate the gate, log on to IT & issues site specific ID
  • Responsible for the On-Boarding activities for all permanent, fixed term employees and contingent workers
  • Tracking System on going applications via various platforms
  • Building and developing effective and collaborative relationships with colleagues and customers

Your skills and experiences:


  • Customer Service experience
  • Excellent Administration background
  • Interpersonal, team working skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a good attention to detail
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining the highest standards of accuracy


  • Knowledge of HR administration
  • Proven work experience as an Administrator On-Boarding/mobilisation or similar role
  • Experience using an Applicant tracking system
