Scheduling and Planning Supervisor – Caerphilly, Wales


Ecolab are looking for a Customer Service Supervisor to join the Scheduling and Planning team in the Caerphilly offices.

As a respected Customer Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for the Scheduling and Planning team, whereby you will ensuring all jobs can start by coordinating all elements needed to complete the job on time in full including hired access, permits, materials and labour. You will help build new ways for teams to interact on a daily basis with customers, suppliers and internal teams including sales, operations and customer service.

We are looking for someone with high energy and social skills to partner with our customers to help them achieve maximum benefit from Ecolab’s products. As a team, we strive to exceed our objectives to help drive greater customer satisfaction.

  • Lead a team responsible for the Scheduling and Planning of Job work within a Customer Service Centre for a rapidly expanding area of the business.
  • Set objectives and goals for area of responsibility and monitor performance on a daily basis
  • Solid background of being able to identify and deliver process change and improvements
  • Prioritisation of resources to meet customer and business needs in a constantly changing service-based organisation
  • Solid background of being able to identify and deliver process change and improvements
  • Own and oversee day to day performance of the Job planning team with a diverse set of processes
  • Work collaboratively to solve customer and business problems at multiple levels
  • Independent delivery of operational change as well as day to day tactical improvements
  • Work with the Head of Customer Service to define and deliver strategic initiatives

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience of people leadership and performance management techniques
  • Sets high standards and able to measure team and self-performance vs targets
  • Passionate about customer service showing ownership at all times
  • Able to deal with time critical issues calmly through to resolution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills aimed at individual contributor through to senior management level
  • Highly organised and structured approach
