Specialty Account Manager

Ecolab is seeking a driven Specialty Account Manager to join the Specialty Team in the United Kingdom, this is a remote role and can be based anywhere in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The objective of this position is to build and maintain new relationships to enable Specialty to win larger jobs and contracts in areas such as construction, quantity surveying and building / project management companies.
  • It will also to be to develop existing client portfolio and take on specific projects that allow us to further develop in selected markets and business sectors.
  • The position will report to the Head of Specialty and will need to generate after sales split with SDMs, £400k Job sales per annum.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To prospect new customers and develop existing business in the selected sectors
  • Work alongside Account Managers for specific accounts within the existing corporate portfolio to develop Specialty opportunities and manage these through.
  • Develop sales plans to ensure a consistent approach to cold calling, working closely with Specialty SDMs to maximise opportunities to grow the sales pipeline.
  • Benchmark and understand market trends and their effect on the selling process.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 plus years of proven sales experience preferably in B2B and/or the service industry.
  • Able to demonstrate success and experience starting new customer relationships, developing and managing and delivering sales.
  • Possess the ability to research and source brand new contacts.
  • Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator.
  • Must have the ability to present at levels ranging from the shop floor to board level.
  • Previous pest industry experience is desirable but not essential.
