Chawker is a digital marketplace for professional services where clients can source vetted advisers across six core categories: wealth, law, accountancy, property, home, and business. The aim of the platform is to provide prospective clients with a more informed choice and for business to display their transparency, by agreeing to be vetted and reviews to be verified independently.

Role

  • Interacting with warm leads to move them over to the Chawker online database
  • Building a rapport with clients and managing the relationships and any communications from the MD.
  • Writing emails and communications to new clients
  • Researching prospects to fully understand their business before approaching them 
  • Ability to identify the benefits to a prospects business and share them competently.
  • Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation
  • Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients
  • Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
  • Gain a good understanding of the businesses’ services and be able to advise others about them
  • Feedback/share thoughts on improving the way the business operates, including capturing comments from prospects
  • Help to plan campaigns when required
  • Work on existing as well as adding to create a prospect pipeline


Requirements

Being the first point of contact, it is important to help potential members really understand the benefits Chawker could offer their business and not feel like they are being sold to.  The ability to listen and identify opportunities, as well as sharing our vision, the need for the service and how we really want to help grow a platform of good quality, businesses, for both b2c and b2b, which actively works with and promotes members.  Being the ONLY professional adviser platform where referral business will be actively promoted, and diligence checks can obtained online, securing clients and regulatory requirements.  

 

 

This position will require a confident person, with a go-getter attitude with initiative.

  • An excellent telephone manner for making initial contact and for ongoing communication with customers and business associates
  • Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients
  • Written and verbal communication skills – needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally
  • A flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to growth changes within the company
  • Initiative and the confidence to start things from scratch.
  • Knowledge on email marketing and social media platforms
