ROLE TITLE:Communications Executive
LOCATION:London (Mostly remote)
REPORTS TO:Senior Engagement Manager
CONTRACT:Part-Time/ Full-time, £14ph

SUMMARY OF ROLE:

The role would focus around;

  • Content writing, creation, execution and trouble shooting of 5 weekly games
  • Supporting the Member Engagement Team in admin tasks e.g updating status documents, supporting in creation of campaign tracking links/codes etc.
  • Support in creation of digital campaigns – emails, push notifications

You willbe actively executing and reporting on results – making improvements for the next campaign. Youwill support the Engagement team to establish a relationship with all our members, providingregular and relevant content to inspire them. The scope of the role includes opportunities to workwith a wide section of the Virgin Group and stakeholder management skills are essential.

The successful candidate must be comfortable with content creation and distribution. We want todeliver exciting communications to our members. Full training will be provided.

Key responsibilities:

● Work with the Membership team to deliver communications for Virgin Red, Flying Club andVirgin.com
● Brief, execute and optimise an annual program of emails, push notifications andcompetitions
● Work with Partnership and Content leads from the wider Marketing team to identify andcommunicate the most compelling editorial content and unique partner offers
● Liaise with our agencies to produce persuasive, compelling and on-brand communications
● Analyse campaign data and report on campaign performance to develop new insight to fuelgrowth and improve satisfaction
● Assist the Membership team by keeping marketing plans, reporting decks and businessdocuments up-to-date
● Multitask across multiple projects while possessing a strong understanding of objectives,schedules, and deadlines

Skills and qualifications:

● Project management, communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working withvarious teams across the business and Virgin Group to get desired outcomes
● Comfortable working with third party vendors to develop highly engaging, brand-ledcommunications
● Creative and a great eye for detail
● Able to manage workload and juggle multiple priorities effectively
● Keen to learn quickly, step outside their comfort zone and actively seek feedback
