Bursary Administration Limited is a small company created in 2009 to provide support to schools within the Independent sector. We have grown rapidly since then and now represent around 450 schools in all areas of the UK. We are looking for two Application Analysts who will undertake assessments by Zoom, with the occasional home visit and school visits in the Surrey area.
This is not a sales role: The families have initiated the application and the assessment is the second stage of the process. Work is provided to the company by the schools – this is logged-in and monitored at Head Office, where appointments will be arranged.
We are seeking two assessors who will carry out a maximum of fifteen appointments per week. Appointments generally can be carried out within forty minutes and involve the completion of two data capture sheets which would be used to complete the report: this is then uploaded to a document exchange system for checking and onward transmission to the schools.
The Application Analyst will have the following skills and personal attributes.
Essential:
- GCSEs in Mathematics and English
- Good standard of written English language
- Ability to create a budget
- Attention to detail
- Intermediate or advanced MS Office user with ability to adapt quickly to new IT systems
- Ability to both work as part of a team and on own account
- Full driving licence
- Ability to communicate and empathise with people whatever their culture, employment, social or financial situation Desirable:
- Level 2 AAT (or similar qualification)
- Good working knowledge of data privacy
- Understanding the importance of the role within the organisation
We will require proof of identity and will obtain a DBS certificate if you do not hold one.
Pay: per report, equating to £20 per hour
Holiday: entitlement is twelve days plus bank holidays, and by agreement with the Office Manager. Any days not taken will be paid at the end of the contract.
There will be a training course with dates TBC.
We will provide accommodation and travel and pay a flat fee for the day within the Reading postcode.
This role can be as flexible as you like and done around family time and fully remote unless you want to go in and make visits.
You can do this role from overseas however you have to be able to make the 2 days training in the UK once the dates are confirmed.
